Roadside Story Release debut album ‘Kings of The Underground’

Finnish Rock Trio, Roadside Story have released their debut album Kings of the Underground via Casket music. The album contains eight tracks and already has two music videos for the songs In the Eye of The Wind and A Million Voices, which can both be found on YouTube. Their first official single In the Eye of The Wind has received airplay in countries such as Finland, Germany, Greece, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, America and Mexico.

Make (Vocals and Guitars) said ‘We’re really excited release our debut album after a few issues caused a delay but it feels great to finally be able to share our songs with our fans. We’re looking forward to playing over Finland and Europe, meeting new people and having fun! I love a lot of guitarists, composers and amazing guitar solos, but nowadays I can’t hear a great number of solos that I admire. We want to fix that with this album.’

Sons of Metal reviewed the album and said: “The new Guns’n’Roses are here and coming straight of Finland with a debut album, Kings Of The Underground. […]This album’s particularity is to leave no room for boredom with a succession of global hits. No cheesy ballads, just a series of riffs, each more exciting than the last and a nice voice, fitting and well-pitched, never excessive.”

Roadside Story was formed in 2009 when MAke (Vocals and Guitars), and his brother Jukkis, (Drums and Percussions), started to play and compose music together and record songs in their home studio, Jake (Bass) joined them soon after to complete the line-up. When listening you can hear their influences from many different classic rock bands over different decades, creating killer songs with lots of solos.

The band can currently be found on tour in Finland to support the release of Kings of The Underground, the songs are also available to purchase on iTunes and Spotify.
